When are the courses run?
Winter Intensives at IH Sabadell are run twice throughout the year, from September 2011 to January 2012, and from February 2012 to June 2012.
Why do an intensive course?
Nowadays some students do not have time to come to class on a weekly basis for a total of 9 month. For that reason, IH Sabadell provides the option of doing a 9 month course in only 5 months. This also suits students who need to learn English quickly for their work, their studies or simply for travel.
Our intensive courses allow these students to do two complete levels in one academic year.
What is the difference between an intensive course and a normal/extensive course?
Students on an intensive course (4 hours a week) need to have more time to dedicate to their English studies on a weekly basis and have an exam at the end of every unit in the book so as their progress can be monitored on a regular basis.
Our extensive courses (3 hours a week) have an exam at the end of every term (December, March & June).
An intensive course also allows teachers to help students with particular areas and give extra attention where necessary.
All students do a final exam at the end of the intensive course.
