Online Spanish and English courses
Apart from face-to-face language courses, International House Eastern Spain also offers the chance to learn Spanish or English online, with online courses currently being offered by all of our centres.
Our online language courses come from Net Languages (founded by IH Barcelona), one of the world's most successful online language schools.
Spanish courses
We are currently offering 5 levels of General Spanish: Pre-Elementary (A1) to Upper Intermediate (B2). The courses include visually attractive materials, high quality listening material and a wide variety of exercise types and activities that make learning Spanish online a meaningful, fun experience.
To learn Spanish you communicate by e-mail and voice-mail with your own personal Spanish tutor, receive corrections and comments on your progress, as well as having telephone tutorials and being able to chat with other online Spanish learners.
At the end of each course there is a test, and an International House certificate for those completing the course successfully.
English courses
Our online English courses are organised in similar fashion to our Spanish courses, with communication with your own personal tutor being one of the features that distinguishes our courses from those of other online language schools.
We currently have a comprehensive seven-level system of online General English courses, ranging from Pre-Elementary (A1) to Advanced (C1), which can be taken as full courses or in two half level courses.
Each unit is designed around a topic and is divided into 15 sections. These sections include: reading, vocabulary, grammar, listening, pronunciation practice, takeaway English, listening, writing, one oral and two written tutorials.
In addition to our General English courses, we also have courses for more specific purposes, including English for Work and exam preparation courses.
